Parker Applied-Arrow Nib Rivera Pens - Vintage Fountain Pens, Pencils and Inkwells

Welcome to Rivera Pens

Last year, after about 10 years of actively buying, selling and researching pens, I had decided that I would solely focus on researching and collecting Pilot Capless/Namiki Vanishing Point fountain pens.  So basically I closed down my old Rivera Pens Web site (riverapens.com) and I created this new Web site to house the Capless/Vanishing Point history that was part of my old Web site.

Well, I am back to selling pens.  I just uploaded to my Web site a nice collection of about 40 pens, most of which are limited editions.  This time I am keeping my Vanishing Point compendium on one site and the pens that I have for sale on another.  Here is the link to the Carmen Rivera Pens for sale list of fountain pens, ballpoints and rollerballs.  Thanks for taking a look.  E-mail me if you have any questions.

Below you will find a link to the newly updated compendium that includes a timeline and links to pictures of every Pilot Capless and Namiki Vanishing Point (VP) model made from 1963 through 2008.  As I continue my research I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any Capless/Vanishing Point pens, catalogs, brochures, pictures or ads that you have for sale or trade.  I want to thank the many fans of these wonderful pens who have shared with me pictures and information from their own personal collections.  This information has helped me answer questions like model release dates, colors issued and manufacturing material that I sometimes can not get from catalogs and ads.

Please email me if you have any questions or information to share at

(In an effort to limit spam my e-mail address is an image and is not linked.)

I hope you find the compendium helpful in your research on this very
